Go Tour LORT’INNOV: second stop at EHP Rovillé aux Chênes

On May 22, the 𝗚𝗼 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗘𝗜 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝘁’𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃 continued at 𝗘𝗛𝗣 𝗥𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲́ 𝗮𝘂𝘅 𝗖𝗵𝗲̂𝗻𝗲𝘀, with a presentation of the project’s progress, a visit to the greenhouses, a demonstration of nettle sowing on pallets, and discussions on molecular extraction and fibre preparation using the 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁.

The afternoon continued in the field with a visit to nettle plots at 𝗠𝗲́𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁 (𝗚𝗔𝗘𝗖 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲), followed by a visit to 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲̀𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗲́𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗲𝘀 and the 𝗣𝗘𝗜 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗘 project.

This field day confirms the growing interest in nettle as an 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 resource, at the crossroads of agricultural, industrial and environmental challenges.
